Let’s start the 2025 Kite Safari Season with a kite cruise this March! Join us for a kiting adventure on our luxury yacht! 24 kiters for an intensive week of kitesurfing, progression guaranteed!

We are ready to celebrate the end of the kitesurfing season with a kite cruise with our team. We have chose a luxury yacht that will act as our moving hotel, taking us to the best kitesurfing areas of the Red Sea, starting from the port of Hurghada. All you need to do is arrive at the Hurghada International Airport and we will take care of everything else from there: this is a all inclusive trip: all you have to do is book your flights, and we will take care of you from the arrival till departure. OUR BOAT

Our boat this week will be Heaven Liberty. This yacht has a lot of experience in the Red Sea and one of the best crew that i’ve ever seen working on a kitesurfing cruise: it can host up to  host up to 24 kiters and of course it has all the amenities and comforts we are used to see on a kite cruise boat: a classic deck to prepare and store your kite gear, a main deck made to chill and party, a solarium, a restaurant, and 12 cabins with private toilet and shower. The Sick Dog team will be on board to guide the team and make sure everything goes according to plan – we will choose the best kite spots for the day, decide a route for the week, and give a much needed help on and off the water.  We kite from dawn till sunset – so be prepared for an intensive kitesurfing week.

KITE SAFARI CRUISE  DAY BY DAY

DAY 1 – This is the day of arrival: we will organize a transfer from the airport to the boat, depending on your arrival time of course. If you are already in Egypt, we will organize a transfer from any hotel or from the kite spot (if you are kiting already). On the boat you will get your cabin, and meet the rest of the kiters (and the team). We will dine on the boat and sleep on board in the marina, ready to departure as early as possible the next morning.

DAY 2 – The boat will depart when you are still sleeping, direction South Geisum. The island of Geisum offer awesome spots for kitesurfing, and we will head to a spot called South Geisum (or Marina Geisum). We will kite there all day and sleep on board in South Geisum.

DAY 3 – We will be kiting all day in South Geisum, starting with an early session before breakfast (so be ready for an early wake up). We will again kite here all day, and sleep on board.

DAY 4 – Early morning the boat will move to Ashrafi, the northest kite spot in the Red Sea. We will kite in Ashrafi all day long, and sleep there.

DAY 5 – It’s downwinder day. After a morning session, at lunch we will do a downwinder towards East Geisum – a 90mins easy downwinder good for all levels. We will arrive in East Geisum early in the afternoon and have more time to kite there.

DAY 6 – We will kite all day in East Geisum – get ready for another early wake up, cause if the conditions are good we will be kiting from 6am.

DAY 7 – Last day at sea: we will kite in East Geisum and push lunch as late as possible, cause after lunch we will head back to the marina. We will spend the last night on board in Hurghada, and if we have enough energy we will go go El Gouna for an evening out.

DAY 8 – That’s it, time to pack your back (if you have not done it already). We will organize a transfer back to the airport or to an hotel of your choice, and see you next time!

NOTE: The route of the cruise can be changed according to wind forecast and weather conditions. Rest assured, we will be chasing the best conditions to make sure that we kite and progress as much as possible.

THE PROGRAM OF THE WEEK*

SATURDAY: Saturday is the arrival day: you will meet the team and all the other kiters, and you will get into your cabin. Dinners and drinks are on board, or you are welcome to explore the town of Hurghada for a fun night out before a very intense kitesurfing week.

SUNDAY: Around 7am the boat will leave the marina, direction Abu Mungar, our first kite spot of the week. We will kite in Abu Mungar all day, the perfect place for a warm up week.

MONDAY: We will be kiting in Abu Mungar all day and at sunset we will move to Geisum, our second spot of the week.

TUESDAY: We will wake up before breakfast for an early session, so this will be a 3 kite sessions day. A lot of kitesurfing for a lot of progression.

WEDNESDAY: The boat will move in the early morning to Asharafy – a huge lagoon is waiting for us, with shallow areas and deep areas to practice and try new tricks.

THURSDAY: We will be kiting all day in Ashrafi.

FRIDAY: Downwinder day! We will move from Ashrafi in the early morning before breakfast for an easy downwinder to Geisum. We will kite in Geisum till lunch, and at lunch we will head back to the marina. We will spend the last night on the boat at land, with a chance to have a last dinner on board or decide to be adventurous and go in town for dinner and drinks.

SATURDAY: Time so say goodbye. Depending on your schedule, we will arrange your transfer to the airport or to an hotel of your choice to continue your holiday. See you next time!

*NOTE: the plan is always subject to change – depending on the forecast and on the group, we change the route explained above. Rest assured, we always try to find the best wind at sea: in case of low wind, we have more activities planned to enjoy the Red Sea.
