A KITE CRUISE TO ENTER THE NEW YEAR
To celebrate in style the end of 2024, we decided to run a New Year’s Eve Kite Cruise – a week of kitesurfing with our luxury motoryacht as a moving hotel, taking us to the best kitesurfing spots of the Red Sea – a comfortable and cozy home to relax, eat, chill, party and sleep. This kite cruise will start from the Hurghada Marina, and the airport of arrival is Hurghada International Airport. This is an all inclusive trip: all you have to do is book your flights, and we will take care of you from the arrival till departure. OUR BOAT
Our boat this week will be Heaven Liberty. This yacht can host up to 24 kiters, 4 kite guides and 1 dive guide, with a main deck to prepare all your kite gear, a spacious upper deck with a bar, a solarium, a restaurant, and a chill zone with TV. All cabins can host 2 people and have separate beds, private toilet with shower and air-conditioning. Some cabins are suites, and suites have a queen sized bed instead of two separate beds. This boat comes with a his own crew; a captain with his team of sailors, a chef, and of course our team from Sick Dog. This is a kitesurfing adventure, it means a lot of kitesurfing.
KITE CRUISE NEW YEAR’S EVE DAY BY DAY
DAY 1 – This is your arrival day: you will arrive at the airport and one of our team will meet you and with our taxi or minibus take you to the boat. On board you will go to your cabin and meet the rest of the team and all the guests that have already arrived. We will have our first dinner on the boat, and maybe explore the town of Hurghada if we have enough energy. We will be sleeping in the Marina.
DAY 2 – The yacht will depart as early as possible to head to the first kite spot of this trip: Abu Mungar Island. We will be kiting here all day.
DAY 3 – We will be kiting all day, as soon as we wake up, to finish at sunset. It is also possible to dive in most spots, so during this trip we will mix activities, depending on the wind forecast.
DAY 4 – We will be chilling in the early morning and head to a new spot during breakfast, Geisum island. We will be kiting and sleeping in Geisum. And then it’s time to get ready for our New Year Party! After kiting, we will have a special dinner, and continue through the night with some music mixed by our DJ and some drinks to celebrate 2025!
DAY 5 – Another early start in Geisum – we will wake up after breakfast and have 2 sessions in Geisum today. We will move to Ashrafi Island in the afternoon.
DAY 6 – Downwinder! Not the hardest of the downwinder, we will head from Ashrafi to Geisum in the early morning. It’s a 2h ride, so be prepared! Once arrived in Geisum, we will be kiting there all day long, and sleep again in Geisum.
DAY 7 – We will wake up late and slowly enjoy our last day on the water. We will head back to the marina for our last night on board around sunset. We will have a last dinner on board or we will go to El Gouna to some nice restaurant for dinner and drinks at land for a change ( if we have some energy left).
DAY 8 – Time to say goodbye! The boat will close its doors around 11am, and we will organize you transfer back to the airport. Till next time!

OUR TEAM
ALEX SALNIK
Alex will be our Boat leader for this week – apart from his questionable taste in music, he is a great and charismatic kiter, with tons of kite safaris under his belt. He will choose every day the best spot for kiting and diving, depending on the wind conditions and on the group.
KARINA SADOVICHENKO
Yoga Teacher and Dive Guide, all in one woman. What can we ask for more? Long time resident in Egypt, Karina is fluent in English, Italian and Russian and she is one of our new entries in our Sick Dog Team.
VANJA CERIC
Our most experienced instructor, DJ, Musician, Vanni is a versatile member of our team. His energy is hard to match, and the same goes with his kitesurfing skills. He is in charge of training advanced riders and of our New Year’s Eve party night!
