Join Kasia this summer for a once in a life time kite clinic: you will be trained by one of the best freestyle trainers in the world with a simple goal in mind – kitesurfing progression.
Kite clinics with Kasia are oriented to small groups of intermediate and advanced riders only, riders that know what they want and where to progress, from simple jumping or a perfect riding technique, to advanced freestyle maneuvers and big air.
On this kite cruise, we host a max number of 6 kiters – every kiter is different, with different needs and different goals in mind, that’s why every one will have an individually tailored program to suit their desires and needs.
SATURDAY: Arrival day on the boat & meeting with Sick Dog Team. Kasia will explain the basic program of the week, based on the wind forecast, and she will sit down with every rider to figure out everyone’s needs and goals.
SUNDAY: The boat will leave the marina in the early morning, towards the first spot. We will have a warm up kite session where Kasia will figure out her students skills and ability. In the evening there will be video analysis to determine your unique needs
MONDAY-THURSDAY: We will start with a warm up session before breakfast. After breakfast we will have a short briefing & set a progress goal for each kiter. Before the kite session, you will have 1:1 coaching. Kasia will give you valuable advice and tips to show you the best way to improve your skills. After this introduction, we have a 2h kite session and practical exercises on the water with live coaching and filming. After lunch Kasia will make a short assessment of your progress and explain what to improve to achieve the desired goal. In next 1h she will stay with you in the water filming your next trials while motivating you to push the limits. Every day after dinner Kasia will show you all the recordings from the day and make professional video analysis of your daily progress.
FRIDAY: Free Day for kiting. During lunch the boat will take us back in the marina. In the evening we will go out to El Gouna for dinner, provided we still have some energy.
SATURDAY: According to your planes and plans, we will go to the airport or to an hotel of your choice: see you next time!
*NOTE: the plan is subject to change due to different wind conditions. We always expect great conditions at sea: in case of poor wind, we will have other activities planned: wingfoiling, stand up paddle board, wakeboarding and snorkeling. The route of the week also depends on the wind, and we may change it accordingly.
In charge of pretty much everything, strapless rider and one of the original members of the very first Sick Dog Team, Roberto will be in charge of beach and kite activities, and a good help on the beach.
Kasia is a certified IKO teacher since 2008 and a pro rider specialized in teaching freestyle and advanced maneuvers. Based in Egypt and Sicily, you can find her pretty much all year round in the water teaching or training.
