Red Sea Kite Cruise

All inclusive Kite trip

All inclusive Kite Safari – What is Really Included

Our Kite Safari are considered all inclusive – this means that, if you are an independent kiter with your own gear, all you have to pay is 1000€ for a kite safari cruise in Egypt with us. Let’s have though a better look on what an All Inclusive Kite Safari really includes, and which are the extras (2 of them are obligatory):

  1. Accommodation in a cabin for 2 persons for 7 nights – You will be on board of our yacht for 8 days, 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday), with the yacht opening its door at midday of the first Saturday and departing on Sunday early morning. If you are a solo traveller, you will share a cabin with a person of the same sex. While single cabins are available, they come at an extra cost (500€ extra) – it’s a lot of money, considered that we do not spend so much time in our cabins. All cabins are equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, and two separate beds that can be combined upon request.
  2. Food – the boat serves 3 meals per day, breakfast, lunch & dinners. Fruit, coffee and snacks are available pretty much all day long, together with water and soft drinks.
  3. Transfer to and from the airport – We will take you from the airport (or from an hotel if you are already in Egypt) and bring you to the boat. Then, on your last day, we will bring you back to the airport or to an hotel of your choice to continue your holiday. It’s that simple.
  4. Assistance on the beach – Our team will help you on the beach with launching, landing and kite preparation.
  5. Lessons – Full beginners and waterstarters will be trained for free privately or in small groups. These lessons are free, and it’s 9 hours private lessons per person or 11 hours semi-private lessons (2 students, one instructors). For them, kite gear is included in the price. Independent riders will have an instructor dedicated to them – the goal is for everyone to progress, and they will have 1 hour per day training (or 1 activity per day dedicated, like a downwinder). Independent riders will be divided in groups, depending on their level.
  6. Rescue – If you get in trouble in the water, our rescue boats will rescue you. Unlimited times, untill you learn how to come back to the beach independently.
  7. Internet – You will have internet on board, included in the price of the cruise.
  8. Low wind activities – Snorkeling, Wake boarding, stand up paddle: if it’s no wind, we will find other ways to have fun, included in the price.

EXTRAS

There are some extras, most of them are totally optional, 2 of them are mandatory:

  1. Tips for the egyptian crew of the yacht – It’s an egyptian custom, at the end of the trip, every kiter will give 60€ and this money will be collected and given to the captain to share with the crew on board. The egyptian crew really relies on this money, since their salary is low. So everyone needs to pay this.
  2. Marine Park Fee – This is also a mandatory extra, a fixed cost (60€) to be paid as a marine tax.
  3. Alcholic drinks – A beer will cost you 2€, a bottle of wine 10€. Feel free to bring anyway anything you want from home or from the duty free.
  4. Gite Gear – If you are independent and you want to rent our kite gear, the cost is 250€ for the week (plus 50€ insurance on the rented material) or 70€ per day (plus 10€ insurance on the rented material). Waterstarters and full beginners won’t have to rent equipment till they are ready & independent.
  5. Extra transfers – As mentioned, two transfers are included. If you need additional transfers, each extra transfer costs €10 per person. While Uber operates well in Egypt and is a more affordable option, we do not recommend using Uber for trips to El Gouna or the airport.

I love kitesurfing, travelling, and making short walks with my dog. I organize kite cruises in Egypt since 2014, you may find me in some windy beach pretty much all year round when I’m not on the boat, may it be Egypt, Cape Verde, Mauritius or Greece. I drink red wine and play (badly) the guitar. You can contact me at +201009410388 (whatsapp or calls) or just email me at [email protected] Hope to see you on board one of these days!
