A kitesurfing cruise in Egypt is a 8 days/7 nights adventure – kiting all day long in the best spots of the Red Sea, with a Luxury yacht as a base, where to sleep, chill, relax and enjoy your time off the water, a comfortable moving hotel ready to pamper you.
This year, we decided to anticipate the classic start of the season and go on a trip a week before Easter, to try and get the best condition of the Red Sea while avoiding the crowd – a few week of kitesurfing action in the Red Sea.
Hurghada is the airport of arrival (HRG, Hurghada International airport) – we will pick you up from the airport and we will take care of you from there! The boat will open its doors at midday of Saturday – you will have time to come on board till early morning on Sunday, cause at 7am the yacht will leave the marina of Hurghada, Egypt. We will cruise, kite, and enjoy the beautiful Red Sea till Friday, the boat will be back to the Marina in the late afternoon of that day, and the trip will officially end at midday of Saturday.
Contact us for more info and if you need any help to find flights. The airport of arrival is Hurghada international airport. And if that week doesn’t work for you check our Kite Cruise weeks plan, to see all our 2025 trips!
We have been organizing trip for several year and we have a great deal of experience with kite cruises in Egypt (we started in 2015) – the boat is big and comfortable and ready to pamper you for a week. It comes equipped with two zodiacs, that will be needed to reach the lagoons and the islands of the Red Sea and eventually for rescuing kiters in trouble.
OUR YACHTS
For this month, our kite cruises will be on New Regency and on Heaven Liberty. These luxury motor yachts can host up to 24 kiters (22 for New Regency), and come equipped with his own crew of sailors, chef, kite expert and a captain of course. There is a restaurant, a main deck to prepare our kite gear, an upper deck to chill, have a coffee and party, and a solarium – plenty of space to recharge our batteries between session. All decks are comfortable and the restaurant provides 3 meals per day with a big lounge with TV.
Contact us and we will let you know which one of the two yachts is available for this week! And you can check our yachts here.
KITESURF SAFARI DAY BY DAY
Every week is different, every wind forecast is different, and most important every group is different! We have of course in mind a a Day by Day plan of our kite cruise, but this plan can change, depending on the conditions we will find at sea.
DAY 1 – The first Saturday is the arrival day – you will be met at the airport by one of our team that will bring you to the boat. You will meet the team, the other kiters that are on board, and get used to your cabin. The first dinner is on the boat, and the first night is in the Marina of Hurghada, ready for the activities of the next day!
DAY 2 – As early as possible we will leave the marina, direction Abu Mungar, our first kite spot of the week, the perfect place for a warm up session to test your skills and your gear. After lunch we will kite more in Abu Mungar till sunset, have dinner on board and sleep comfortably on the boat in Abu Mungar.
DAY 3 – We will have a dawn session aroun 6am, right before breakfast – the best time for a quiet session before the day really kicks in! During breakfast we will move with the boat direction North, towards one of the best kitesurfing spots of the Red Sea, Tawila Island. We will kite in this iconic spot today all day.
DAY 4 – We will stay today in Tawila, to enjoy the perfect conditions that this island offers.
DAY 5 – Early in the morning we will move again North towards Geisum – we will kite in Geisum all day and have a bbq on the beach at night.
DAY 6 – Today we will do a downwind kite trip from Geisum to Tawila – an easy one, around 2h/30km, with small to no waves. We will start before breakfast to reach Tawila around 11am and have an early lunch there.
DAY 7 – Last day in the Red Sea – we will kite till late lunch in Tawila and head back to the marina in the late afternoon. We will have dinner on board or head to El Gouna, if we still have energy, for a night out. We will go back to the boat of course to sleep.
DAY 8 – The boat will close its door at midday – according to your plans, we will organize your transfers to the airport or to any hotel of your choice. See you next time!
This is our standard Kite Cruise Route – it is strongly dependent of the wind forecast and on the level of kiters of this particular trip, we will choose the best plan day by day to make sure we get the best from the Red Sea, in any conditions.
Normally April is a windy month in Egypt, but in case of one or more no windy days, we can wakeboard, snorkel and use our stand up paddle boards to explore the reefs.
