LEARNING KITESURFING – KITE SAFARI BEGINNER COURSE
A kitesurfing cruise offers great condition to learn kitesurfing, a sport that needs tecnique and limited phisical abilities. Learning Kitesurfing is in fact easier than you think! With only 3 lessons (each one 3h long) we typically can teach you kitesurfing and become an independent kiter. And if after 3 days you are ready and your kite safari is still not over, you can have our equipment to continue practicing under our supervision. Our goal is to train you till we feel you are ready to be independent in the water.
LEARNING KITESURFING – KITE SAFARI INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED COURSE
During our kite safari, we aim to train our intermediate & advanced rider free of charge for 1h per day. If the conditions are right, one of our advanced instructor will take care of anyone that need to improve his/her tecnique – from first jumps & transitions to advanced manoeuvers.
THE COST
We offer kitesurfing lessons free of charge during our cruises, to make sure you get the most out of your kitesurfing adventure with us.
Our instructors can speak English, Italian, Russian, German and French, but generally on our cruises we stick to English. They are experienced and qualified to ensure a safe and professional learning environment. All lessons will be private, if possible, meaning that it’s one student/one instructor. We teach using IKO standard and at the end of your course, you will receive an IKO Card certifying your kitesurfing level. For more info on IKO, check their website and check here our team.

BEGINNER FULL COURSE SCHEDULE
We will start with the wind theory and you will get familiar with all the kitesurfing equipment. You will understand the kite spot and the wind conditions of the day. All safety measures and systems are explained, tested and learned.
You will prepare the kitesurf gear and learn to fly the kite independently. You will learn to relaunch the kite in case it falls in the water.
You will learn to exit and enter the water while controlling the kite. You will learn body dragging downwind and upwind (the ability of moving in the water using the kite).
You will finally get your kite board and learn to waterstart. Your instructor will correct your mistakes, till you will be able to ride your first 50 meters without stopping. You will learn the right way of rules, in order to kitesurf among other riders.
If you still have energy, you will be kitesurfing alone, but under our supervision.
TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING
A classic Kitesurfing course needs typically 3 days/9h to complete – at the end of the 3rd day typically a student is able to ride for very short distance independently and safe – further practice is of course necessary for riding longer. In case of 2 students/1 instructor, the full course is 3 days/11h.
Our Kitesurfing Course is completely free of charge. If you need more hours after the course is done, every extra hour (private lesson) is 30€/hour.
After that day, you are welcome to join us when we go kiting (for free). You will of course need your own equipment or rent some equipment from us – check below our rental prices, they are super competitive!
It’s important for us to know that you will be needing lessons during our trip together, since that will help us organize our awesome instructors and make sure the equipment is ready and reserved for you!
Sunglasses and high protection sun cream for your face. Both very important items. In cold months, you will need to have with you a wetsuit, and a lycra for the warmer months. After Covid, we do not rent anymore these items.
Also mandatory – watershoes. They can be found very cheap in Europe or directly in Egypt.

HOW CAN IT BE FREE OF CHARGE?
Once you learn kitesurfing, you will probably end up paying a lot of money on kitesurf equipment, boards, flights and kite holidays every year, so we decided not to charge for kitesurfing lesson when you join one of our Kite Cruise Camp.
Our way is different, we do not teach with a clock, but we teach you till you can safely ride independently. With our guarantee that you will have fun and learn kitesurfing in a safe and controlled environment, under the supervision of a qualified IKO instructor.
