What Happened with the Kite Safari week 30th August – 6th September?

While we are fully booked (or almost fully booked) all year round, a strange event is happening – the first week of September, that I personally consider one of the best week for going out at sea, is suddenly not so busy. Just 6/7 kiters signed up. Be assured, we will go at sea also if our yacht is half full, but I really wonder, and so far, I’ve literally no clue.

Why it is a great week?

It’s warm. Still no need for wetsuits. And that’s I love.

Wind stats don’t lie. The wind is supposed to be there.

The sea won’t be too busy. We don’t have many yachts in August at sea, so I expect the first week of September not to be too crowded in the islands.

Then why it’s empty?

If you have any idea why it may be, please contact me. I’m too curious.

I love kitesurfing, travelling, and making short walks with my dog. I organize kite cruises in Egypt since 2014, you may find me in some windy beach pretty much all year round when I’m not on the boat, may it be Egypt, Cape Verde, Mauritius or Greece. I drink red wine and play (badly) the guitar. You can contact me at +201009410388 (whatsapp or calls) or just email me at [email protected] Hope to see you on board one of these days!
