Arnone Project – Shirts Made for Kiters by Kiters

As you may know, we have shirts and hoodies on board. It all started with a simple idea: to create T-shirts that I would actually enjoy wearing. For years, I couldn’t find anything that really felt right, something minimal, clean, and truly connected to the kite lifestyle without being over the top. So I made it.

While looking for inspiration though, I came across Arnone Project, you can check them out here. They create shirts specifically for kiters, in fact, that’s exactly what they do. Unlike me, I run kite safaris and make shirts mainly for fun and to give the guys and girls who join my kite safaris something special to take home as a memory. For them, this is their full focus. They are pros.

I immediately liked their style. It felt authentic and fun. At the same time, I realized I don’t have the graphic skills or the creativity to make something at that level, so I settled for something simpler – that’s what you see until now on board, all have been my own creations. Simple, minimalistic, and very much “me.” No big graphics, no complicated concepts. Just clean designs connected to the sea, the wind, and of course Kitesurfing.

Over time, though, I started thinking about expanding the range. Not just adding more colors, but creating something stronger and different. Something that still feels true to Sick Dog Surf and the kite safari spirit, but with a more refined design approach.

So I decided to reach out directly to the guys at Arnone Project. We started talking, sharing ideas, and exploring what a collaboration for the 2026 Kite Safari season could look like. The goal is simple: create a design that speaks to kiters.

If everything goes as planned, the 2026 collection will reflect this evolution. As always, nothing too commercial, it’s just a t-shirt, made by kiters, for kiters.

Stay tuned to see what comes out of this. If it works, you’ll be able to wear a piece of your kite safari back home.

I love kitesurfing, travelling, and making short walks with my dog. I organize kite cruises in Egypt since 2014, you may find me in some windy beach pretty much all year round when I’m not on the boat, may it be Egypt, Cape Verde, Mauritius or Greece. I drink red wine and play (badly) the guitar. You can contact me at +201009410388 (whatsapp or calls) or just email me at [email protected] Hope to see you on board one of these days!
