What I expect from you on my Kite Safari

What I expect from you on my Kite Safari

I know you come with a lot of expectations, a few doubts, and some requests and standards that you expect to find on our Kite Safari Yacht. And you will find those. That said, we’ll be spending a week together at sea, so I also have some expectations from you guys 😉. Let’s take a look at a (small) list below.

GOOD ENERGY

This honestly always happens. You guys have been great over the years, always coming on board ready for a kitesurfing adventure and bringing a great vibe. Keep it up!

BRING YOUR OWN HARNESS (IF YOU HAVE IT)

I have tons of harnesses, but kiting with your own harness makes a big difference, and a harness doesn’t take up much space in your luggage. If you plan on renting kite gear with us, we have everything, but if you can, bring your own harness.

BE PATIENT

Especially on the first day, when everything is new. We all need to get to know each other, and you need to adjust to the rhythm of the yacht, our timings, and our personalities. For example, I’m calm and fun, while Sophie is more energetic.

Also, while you explained to me how you kite before the trip, we need to check your real level on the water, make sure you have the right kite (if you’re renting or learning), and match you with the right instructor (if you’re learning). I like to call the first day the Warm-Up Day: I want no kite accidents, so I expect everyone to kite conservatively. It just takes one (windy) day.

I love kitesurfing, travelling, and making short walks with my dog. I organize kite cruises in Egypt since 2014, you may find me in some windy beach pretty much all year round when I’m not on the boat, may it be Egypt, Cape Verde, Mauritius or Greece. I drink red wine and play (badly) the guitar. You can contact me at +201009410388 (whatsapp or calls) or just email me at [email protected] Hope to see you on board one of these days!
