I\u2019ve tried several times, in different countries and in different conditions, and the results were always the same. Pathetic. It\u2019s a mix of lack of agility, an inability to understand when a wave is coming (or not), and probably a pure lack of talent for this sport. Period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a lot of skills, but surfing is definitely not one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why am I talking about surfing? I\u2019ve been in touch with the French guys (and girls) from 360 Surf Travel, and they promised me we would give it another shot with one of their surf camps &#8211; the final attempt at my surfing education. <strong>They organize surf &amp; kite camps all over the world<\/strong> (you can check them out <a href=\"https:\/\/360-surf.com\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/360-surf.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.360-kite.com\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.360-surf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>) at very decent prices. I have to admit they offered me a discount in exchange for talking about my kite safaris, so I decided to check their reputation online to make sure they are actually good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GOOGLE REVIEWS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A solid 4.5 stars, based on 37 reviews &#8211; a similar score to Sick Dog, which has a great 4.8 based on almost 200 reviews (thank you guys). The usual mix of great reviews (most of them) and a few unhappy surfers. The negative reviews were all addressed (good point).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TRIPADVISOR &amp; OTHERS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I couldn\u2019t find any information about them on Tripadvisor. It may make sense, since they operate more like a tour operator across multiple locations rather than a surf school in a specific destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Certified Avis Garantis (a french review provider) they have though over 200 reviews, with an average rating of 9.2 &#8211; not bad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WEBSITE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m a bit of a website nerd, so I can be quite picky when checking someone else\u2019s site. I have to admit their website is well done, easy to use, and looks great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll keep you updated on my surfing progression (I\u2019ve got a bad feeling about it, but keep an eye on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/primi.roberto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">my personal Instagram<\/a> to see if I ever manage to get back on a surfboard)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>360 Surf Travel &#8211; The French Connection I have always been a terrible surfer.
